SECURITY DEPOSIT. If you book and pay online with your credit card, this fee is waived unless we incur additional expenses over and above normal wear and tear, usage, and cleaning costs. If loss or damage does occur to the cabin during your stay, we are authorized to deduct up to $250 on your card as compensation, and to seek additional payment if damage or loss was excessive. If you do not have a credit card, an additional $100 will be added to your PayPal invoice when paying by check. This is refunded to you within 30 days after your departure if the cabin is left in good condition and no other balance or compensation is due.
CLEANING. The cabin is cleaned before your arrival, and linens and supplies are provided for the number of guests stated. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $50 is required for all stays of less than six (6) nights for general cleaning and sanatizing, hot tub and cabin maintenance, linen replacement, towels, and guest supplies. In addition, all guests are required to leave the cabin in good condition and perform a few minor cleanup tasks such as dishwashing, bagging and disposing garbage, cleaning up any spillage, and returning items to their original locations.
CHILDREN are welcome at our cabins, and Angel Loft and Dreamlake provide highchairs and some toys and videos for toddlers. Please, however, bring diapers linens, towels, or other special items for little ones since these are not provided. And also watch them closely: you are responsible for any damage they may inflict on our cabins or furnishings.
PETS are also welcome. There is, however, a one-time Pet Fee of $75 for a maximum of two small pets 35 lbs or less each. This fee is used to pay for deep cleaning to remove any residual dander and fur from the floors and furniture. Owners are also responsible for any other damage by their pets. Further, if you tell us that pets are coming and you don't bring them for whatever reason, you are still liable for the extra fee unless management is notified at least 48 hours of your arrival.
TENNESSEE TAXES. The 14.25% surcharge includes a state & local sales tax of 9.25% and the Monroe County Lodging tax of 5%.
CANCELLATIONS. If you must cancel your stay for any reason, you may do so 30 or more days prior to the date of your arrival and receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee. There are NO REFUNDS for cancellations made within the 30-day period unless the rental unit can be re-booked for the same dates. If this happens, you will receive an amount equal to the amount received by us, minus a $50 processing fee. If there is still a balance due, your refund will be the amount left after the balance due (plus $50) is subtracted. All refunds will be made within 60 days of the cancellation request. Travel Insurance is highly recommended for all guests booking stays during the no-refund period.
