Located in the gated community of a private local mountain lake, this 3 BR lake cabin is the perfect mountain vacation rental to enjoy the wonders of East Tennessee. DreamLake cabin is fully-furnished, with central heat and AC for comfort year-round. The public boat storage and beach is directly in front of the house, offering hours of fun for kids of all ages. Recreation is all natural, beginning with the view from your front porch - the beauty of the rising or setting sun reflected from the shimmering lake. Miles of mountain trails await exploration by hikers and runners, including gently sloping sections for easy walking. Our spring-fed 60-acre lake is the site of swimming, boating, and fishing. A sportsman's dream of hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting is only minutes away in the Cherokee National Forest, home of breathtaking Bald River Falls and other magnificent scenes. Also close by are Tellico Lake and Citico Creek - each an angler's delight. Dozens of other family activities and beautiful attractions are never far away: whitewater rafting & kayaking, mountain biking, horseback riding, rappelling, cave exploration, gold panning, and trail hiking in the National Forest. Features & AmenitiesDreamLake cabin is a 2-story stone house with finished basement. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, one on each level. The home can sleep up to 8 people. We try to keep our cabin spotless, so please, no smoking, beach sand, mud, dirt or debris allowed inside. Below is a picture tour of the property; click on each photo to enlarge:
OUTSIDE AND SURROUNDINGS:
MAIN LEVEL: The main floor has a fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living room with fireplace and large picture windows for great views. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed across from a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The main level also features a front porch & deck, screened porch with deck furniture and hot tub, a BBQ grille, and wrap-around sofas in front of the fireplace and satellite TV for those chilly autumn and winter nights.
UPSTAIRS BEDROOM: A large queen bed is upstairs, opening to skylights and a balcony overlooking the trees and the lake. There is also a walk-in closet and bath with shower and skylight.

BASEMENT: There is a 2-car carport with side entrance to recreation room and TV lounge area with a easy chairs and sleeper sofa. The basement floor also has bedroom with 2 daybeds, bathroom with shower, and a laundry and equipment room.
OTHER AMENITIES: The Lake has a recreation area with pool table and Private 12-foot Jon boat for guests! Also: Phone, central heat/AC, satellite TV, DVD, movie library, stereo/CD player, stove, fridge, microwave, blender, coffeemaker, toaster, linens, washer/dryer, BBQ grill, books, magazines, indoor & outdoor toys and games. Wireless Internet (wireless DSL from Bellsouth) will hopefully become sometime in mid-to-late 2008.
Rental RatesDreamLake is normally reserved by the week (6 or 7 nights, with a maximum guest occupancy of 6 guests. Short stays (i.e., less than a week) can be booked during regular and off-seasons any time. Peak dates, however, can only be booked within 30 days of arrival to give priority to weekly visitors. Peak times are given below and include most holidays, the month of October, and Fri-Sun nights during the summer season. CLICK HERE for an explanation of fees and policies.

Tennessee sales (9.25%) and lodging taxes (5%) added, and for stays of less than 6 nights, there is a $50 cleaning fee added. There is also a $75 pet fee for a small cat or dog. Check out our additional fees & policies page for details. *Peak Season includes June-August (summer), and those dates surrounding and including major holidays throughout the year, i.e., July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, Easter, and Memorial Day. Peak dates are also in effect during the whole month of October (leaf season).
**Nightly or short stays of less than 6 nights are allowed any time during the regular and off-season dates. Minimum stay required: 2 nights. During Peak times weekly guests are given first priority. If your dates are still open, you will be allowed to book any peak dates starting 30 days of check-in. How to Get ThereThe DreamLake turnoff is 6.5 miles south of Madisonville along Highway 68, and 5.6 miles north of Tellico Plains and the Cherohala Skyway. To get there, take Interstate 75 between Chattanooga and Knoxville to about halfway at Exit 60, Sweetwater. Turn onto Tennessee Highway 68 and go South past Madisonville to the turnoff. Specific directions and a gate pass to the lake subdivision will be provided all guests after booking and confirmation.
